Hi, I am Darrion Scott a.k.a. IAMSOVL/SOVL. I was born in Atlanta, Ga at Grady Hospital and raised in Redan on the East Side of the city! I've been a writer since the young age of 7; starting with poetry. Inspired by some greats like Kanye West, Biggie, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, J. Cole and Bob Marley, Goodie Mob, Outkast, and
James Brown as well. I have always considered myself as a spiritual being having a human experience. My music and art displays this, and everything I put time and effort into comes directly from the soul, hence the name SOVL. I hope to bring a light to the world while expressing my prospective in a creative form.
